Use of Sulfonated Melamine Formaldehyde Superplasticizer (SMF) and flyash in cement concrete Roads

Scope and Objectives
(i) To study the rate of increase in compressive strength and performance of Cement Concrete Road constructed using SMF      material with flyash.
(ii) To study the economy in construction cost of Cement Concrete Roads
(iii) To study the environmental benefits in use of flyash and SMF material in Cement Concrete Roads.

Methodology

Under this study different type of experimental stretches of cement concrete roads proposed to be constructed are as follows.
(i) Regular cement concrete road stretch
(ii) Cement concrete road using 25% flyash and SMF material instead of cement
(iii) Cement concrete road by using 40% flyash and SMF material instead of cement

Significance/Utilisation
The cement concrete roads constructed using HVFA and SMF material increases durability, high performance and high strength. Under limited financial resources and tremendous need for infrastructure development, such concrete roads constructed using HVFA and SMF material best suit to the needs of our country.
